Job description
This position is critical for providing effective and timely data management, customer service, office duties and responsible for all aspects of bidding commercial and residential roofing projects (Labor, time and materials requirements in order to determine the overall cost of projects). This role will assist with the day-to-day operations of the office and responsible for increasing profitability through comprehensive cost estimating. Determining job take-offs to accurately calculate job cost is a fundamental skill set required to perform this role effectively.
Job requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to have the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities:
- A high school diploma is required.
- Accuracy to do estimates, job costing and reports
- Strong mathematical skills
- Open mind to drive the forklift and receive freights
- QuickBooks experience & PDF Expert is highly encouraged
- Knowledge of accounting techniques and procedures
- High level of comfort with technology: Spreadsheets, Word, Excel, Adobe Pro..etc
- Knowledge of and adherence to current confidentiality practices
- Appreciation for constantly improvement and make process better
- Read blueprints and architectural drawings is a plus but not require
In terms of prior work experience, we prefer that you have worked for a busy, service-oriented, estimating or office management position, although this is not required.

- Answers phones and assists with walk in and will call customers.
- Estimating and quoting Bids for Commercial and Residential construction
- Create job costing reports and help with what ever is needed at the office
