Your tasks
Reporting directly to the Head of Product Management Truck Tires, the Product Manager is responsible for managing TT products for the U.S. and Canadian markets throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products that support the company’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and implements the TT and retread product strategy for the US & Canada markets, aligning with the overall America’s TT Product Strategy.
Interact with internal and external customers to get product feedback, identify market trends, and understand customer needs and priorities.
Provide product performance information relative to the key competitors by steering benchmark activities to develop a value proposition for new TT and retread developments.
Provide input for new product opportunities including product concept and product story.
Creation of new tire and retread business plans utilizing marketing intelligence data.
Participate in new tire and retread development projects to unsure that new products meet the product concept, story, and business objectives.
Supports new product training, product events, and the development of communications material to enhance the sales of the TT product portfolio.
Lead a cross-functional team to insure the successful launch of new products and retreads.
Your profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or other related field.
This position is only open to current internal Continental employees. External candidates will not be considered for this role.
7+ years professional experience.
5+ years experience in R&D, Sales/Account Management., Product Management., customer service, or similar.
Continental is able to offer relocation for domestic candidates only.
