**Overview:**
The Production Project and Quality Assurance Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the entire production process, ensuring that products meet quality standards, deadlines are met, and projects are executed efficiently. This role requires a blend of project management skills, quality assurance expertise, and a deep understanding of creative production processes.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Project Management:**
- Develop and implement project plans for production processes, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Design, Print and Logistics to streamline workflows and optimize production schedules.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any deviations from the plan.
2. **Quality Assurance:**
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure products meet defined standards and specifications.
- Establish quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track product quality and performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, materials, and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
3. **Process Improvement:**
- Continuously evaluate production processes to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction.
- Lead initiatives to implement process improvements, including the adoption of new technologies, automation, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and ensure seamless integration with existing workflows.
4. **Supplier Management:**
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Evaluate supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, and establish collaborative relationships to drive mutual success.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in project management, quality assurance, and production management, preferably in a print production environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and quality management software.
