Wesley House Family Services is a nationally accredited not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting and nurturing children and strengthening families with services spanning Monroe County, Florida. Social services provided by WHFS include: Full case management, Intensive preservation services, Enhanced-in-home services, Intensive family reunification services, Prevention & intervention services, Foster care & adoption services, Health families Monroe and Inez martin child development center.
The Family Support Worker will be doing-
- The Family Support Worker will transports clients.
- The Family Support Worker will supervise visits between clients and family members and documents observations and enters into system with 72 hours.
- The Family Support Worker completes administrative tasks related to the functions and responsibilities of the Family Support Worker in a timely manner including but not limited to documentation of supervised visits within 72 hours of visits, medical/dental records within 72 hours of visit, and verbal/written communication with case management staff.
- Completes other tasks as assigned.
The successful Family Support Worker candidate will have-
- Prefer a high school diploma required or higher level of education and one year of experience in Child Welfare preferred.
- Experience with 0-18 year client population; working with children and families that are in a high-risk situation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Independent decision making and flexible scheduling
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Florida auto insurance
