Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and ensure the overall comfort and well-being of our residents.
Duties:
- Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs
- Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity
- Assist with heavy lifting and transferring of residents
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Document care provided in electronic systems
- Assist with medication administration under supervision
- Provide first aid as needed
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in patient care or childcare
- Proficiency in vital signs monitoring
- Knowledge of resident rights and dignity preservation
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely
- Proficient in meal preparation for special dietary needs
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Basic understanding of medication administration protocols
- First aid certification is a plus
