Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. You will be working on heavy and medium duty trucks, construction equipment and aggregate processing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and other issues
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify faulty components and systems
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose problems
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles
- Familiarity with air brake systems is preferred
- Ability to use diagnostic tools effectively
- Experience with equipment repair is a plus
