Patient Access Representative
Patient Outreach: Proactively contact patients to schedule essential preventative, routine, and other medical visits. Assist with rescheduling as needed to ensure patients receive timely care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and professional environment for patients over the phone and through electronic communication. Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and with empathy, ensuring a positive interaction at every touchpoint.
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and correctly filed to support seamless patient care.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and promptly resolve any issues related to appointment scheduling, such as conflicts or delays. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate personnel, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
Education / Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or higher in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in patient access, healthcare administration, customer service, or telemarketing is highly desirable. Proven track record of managing high-volume patient interactions and scheduling.
- Bilingual preferred
