Airport Lineman – Part Time at Wichita Falls Regional Airport
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this position is to tow and fuel small aircraft and to respond to customer requests. This is accomplished by operating fuel trucks and aircraft tugs, documenting fuel sales and deliveries, recording charges for billings, answering the phones and responding to questions and inquiries, and checking fuel for water, dirt or other contaminants. Other duties include maintaining grounds and facilities and completing minor repairs.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work day, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be fingerprinted and found not to have any disqualifying criminal offenses as itemized by TSA.

1 L Regular and reliable attendance in compliance with given schedules is a mandatory requirement of this position. Schedules may be subject to change with or without advance notice
2 M Fuels aircraft by operating fuel trucks and pulling up to aircrafts, receiving fuel orders and recording fuel sold, and submitting orders for billing.
3 M Tows aircraft from hangers or hooks by using aircraft tugs, hooking and unhooking tow bars, backing aircraft into hangers, and opening, closing and locking all hanger doors.
4 M Cleans and maintains facility and grounds by mopping and sweeping floors, cleaning bathrooms, washing windows, emptying trash, completing minor repairs, mowing and trimming grounds, and cleaning up litter or debris.
5 M Maintains vehicles by checking and replacing fuels, checking tires, belts and hoses, and completing minor repairs as warranted
6 M Monitors office activities by answering the phone and responding to inquiries, monitoring the airport radio, assisting customers with transactions, providing information, managing pilot requests, and responding to accidents or incidents.
