Job Summary:
Responsible for portions of human resources functions such as staffing, employee relations, compensation, leave management and benefits. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Assists with the administration of benefits, recruitment and onboarding for all facility staff. Recommends improvements to compensation and benefits programs to Human Resources Director. Manages and maintains personnel record keeping for all facility staff. Responsible for processing various Human Resources Department forms including evaluations, employee payroll information, assists employees and applicants with Human Resource issues. Performs administrative and clerical related duties. May assist the Director of Human Resources, as applicable.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Experience with benefits administration and open enrollment processes
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (PeopleSoft or similar) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and talent acquisition
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
