About the Role:
This role is responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining engine components and systems for FAA aircrafts under general supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Inspect engine components according to the Inspection / Repair manual
· Identify parts using the Illustrated Parts Catalog, and Service Bulletins
· Tag parts as repairable, failed inspection, or passed inspection
· Non-Destructive Testing ( Magnaflux, and Fluorescent Penetrant)
· Use precision measuring tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Depth gauges. Ect.)
· Report to department lead and Chief inspector any issues that arise
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of experience working in a FAA Repair Station Environment preferred.
Abilities and Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repairs and maintenance.
- Ability to interpret electronic schematic diagrams
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements. including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
- Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Must pass Eye exam (Corrective lenses are fine but must be worn at work)

- Schematics: 1 year (Preferred)
- Aircraft maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
