Job Description
The Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact and is responsible for taking care of the reception area, maintain polite and courteous interaction with tenants and others either in person or through phone calls. They are also expected to handle some administrative activities including receiving rent payments, sorting rent statements, and organizing and stocking supplies. Success in this role is demonstrated by being punctual, providing superb customer service and maintaining the cleanliness and quality of front desk activities.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Must be able to speak, read and write in Spanish.
- Manage the front area and other common space, attends to incoming telephone calls, and greets all visitors.
- Handle all voice mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism.
- Promptly and effectively deal with tenants concerns or issues and see all are met to satisfaction in timely manner.
- Receive incoming deliveries, prepares and arranges out‐going deliveries, distributes mail, and assures that deliveries that arrives to the office are properly distributed.
- Maintain the kitchen and serve as the point of contact for all office maintenance-related issues.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Will provide some admin support to the accounting and human resources departments.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of front desk or administrative clerical experience
- landlord-tenant, property management experience preferred
- Must have hands-on-experience with heavy calls
- Knowledge of office administration best practices
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask with ease.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with the staff at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in carrying out all responsibilities.
Interviews will be conducted in both Spanish & English to determine fluency in Spanish.
Employment is also contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
