Senior Moving Company is hiring for an Operations/ Warehouse Manager. We are seeking to fill this position immediately with the perfect candidate.

This role requires commitment, some early mornings and extended evenings, and Saturdays. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in the moving industry, but another background in logistics with a proven success record will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Local dispatch
- Supervise day-to-day operations
- Supervise and manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire your team to exceed expectations
- Develop and maintain robust training programs for packing, moving, and driving academies, enhancing team skills and service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless operations..
- Cultivate new and existing client opportunities, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Manage inventory and oversee quality controls to maintain the highest standards of service and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in professional moving and management roles.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
- Strong ethical standards and a high level of personal integrity.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple projects at once, multi-tasking and following through on all matters at hand.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Analytical aptitude in solving complex operational issues.
- Proficient in fleet maintenance and knowledge of relevant regulatory compliance.
- Capable of training on and operating box trucks and forklifts.
- Solid computer skills for efficient data management.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Reliability and accountability is a must!
Job Type:
- Full-timeSchedule: Monday to Friday
- Half a day on Saturdays
- Coordinated Saturdays off from support staff

Experience Requirements:
- Management: 2-4 years (Required)
- Professional Moving or Transportation Industry: 2-4 years (Preferred)
- Fleet Maintenance & Compliance: 5 years (Preferred)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $65,000 to 80,000 per year - pay based on experience
