Reporting to the Director of Sales NAM as Specification Manager, you will be responsible for specifications generated in North America, that could be built and installed nationally, but also globally. Your mission will be to create awareness for the EGGER brand and products within the architectural, design and specification community in order to drive sales through our distributor partners. You will be responsible for the further development of the Specification Strategy and Business Development plan for North America. You will lead the NAM EGGER Specification Team and drive them to success.
Location: US-East Coast, remote, travel up to 75%
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong pipeline of projects which is subsequently managed through the supply chain to final installation and actual sales.
- Evolve the Specification strategy for North America, involving the identification of opportunities in key sectors.
- Develop relationships with key Architects, Designers, Specifiers, Developers, General Contractors and end users.
- Work with our Distribution and OEM partners to leverage their resources to maximize sales opportunities.
- Work with Product Management to develop the Specification team’s knowledge and ability to give sound technical and application advice, based on the customer’s requirement.
- Maximize project pipeline through lead/project generation tools/platforms.
- Review effectiveness of current activities, such as CEU’s and Lunch & Learns, and contribute to their evolution.
- Liaise with the Marketing department to identify opportunities to boost brand awareness as well as more tactical targets.
- Manage KPI’s and targets of the Specification team.
- Ensure that projects and relevant data is maintained in our CRM system.
- Carry out ongoing reviews and annual appraisals with Specification team.
- Represent North America in any international EGGER Specification meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor' Degree
- Experience and success working as a National Specification Manager within the composite panel & decorative surface Industry whether that’s for a Manufacturer, Distributor, OEM or another part of the supply chain.
- Min. 5 years Leadership experience.
- Experience working with Architecture and Design (A&D) firms with a network of contacts in the leading A&D firms, as well as end-users.
- You will be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and nurture existing and new relationships (both online and offline).
- Ability to gain the trust of customers and colleagues through competence and reliability.

- Excellent presentation and written, verbal and listening communication skills.
- Computer literacy, including experience using CRM software and MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
