Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide support to our legal team and assist in
various legal tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the legal field and a desire to contribute to the success of our firm.
Responsibilities
- Assist in requesting medical records and bills
- Assist with drafting legal documents
- File and organize legal documents and correspondence
- Manage document management systems, such as FileVine
- Assist attorneys in preparing for meetings, hearings, and trials
- Prepare and distribute legal correspondence
Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures -
- Proficiency in using document management systems, such as FileVine
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
