Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our team, the Hotel Front Desk Agent plays a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out. You will manage reservations, provide information about our services and the local area, and resolve any issues with the highest level of customer service.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Responsibilities:
- Greet, check in, and check out guests with a positive, welcoming attitude.
- Answer phone calls and emails, providing information and processing reservations.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and patience.
- Maintain accurate records of guest bookings, payments, and special requests.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure room readiness and address any guest needs or concerns promptly.
- Provide guests with information about local attractions, dining, and transportation.
- Ensure the lobby area remains clean and inviting.
- Manage cash drawers and financial transactions accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further training in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computers, including hotel management software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
