Orlando ABA is seeking a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Our BCBA position orchestrates and oversees behavior analytic interventions for individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. They use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help improve the lives of their clients and their families.
Responsibilities:-Design and implement individualized treatment plans for clients with autism and other developmental disorders-Conduct functional assessments to identify the reason for challenging behaviors and target behaviors for intervention-Develop and implement behavior intervention plans that are based on the principles of ABA-Regularly analyze data to track progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed-Collaborate with other professionals such as RBT's, BCaBA's, and BCBA's to ensure comprehensive support for clients-Provide training and supervision to other staff members who are implementing behavior intervention plans-Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans-Stay up-to-date with current research in the field of ABA and incorporate new findings into treatment plans-Provide support and education to families of clients to help them understand and manage their child's behaviors-Adhere to professional ethics and standards of behavior analysis-Achieving and maintaining certification and licensure as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Qualifications:-Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field-BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board-Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Strong organizational and time management skills-Ability to work independently and as part of a team-Ability to work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
