I) Job Purpose
The HR Data Analyst collaborates with HR teams to enhance work processes and maximize technological capabilities. They develop plans to ensure compliance with reporting requirements, maintain system orientation for new personnel, and prioritize technology initiatives. Additionally, they serve as a technical liaison for their area, ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, and identifying process improvement opportunities. The HR Data Analyst also supports HRMS upgrades, patches, and technical projects.
II) Essential Functions
A) Utilizes interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and peers to achieve project goals.
B) Recommends improvements in processes, customer service, system solutions, and policy changes, subject to leadership approval.
C) Conducts system maintenance, including reviewing, testing, and implementing HRMS upgrades or patches, and maintaining system tables.
D) Provides production support by resolving HRMS problems, performing scheduled activities, and ensuring data integrity.
E) Generates and maintains ongoing reports/queries, supports report development, and assists in maintaining data integrity.
F) Conducts training, develops user procedures, and trains users on new processes and functionality.
G) Creates Standard Operating Procedures as requested for HR tasks associated with system entries, changes, and processes to assist current and new personnel in HR.
H) Stays updated on HRMS trends, product development, and technologies, continuously enhancing HR and HRIS knowledge.
I) Demonstrates working knowledge of system processes for employee data, insurance benefits, and job bids/offers.
J) Participates in user group meetings and conferences to stay informed and engaged.
K) Develops Audit reports with data inconsistencies to help HR teams with invalid entries or errors in system and insurance billing reports.

A) This position requires extensive internal and external contacts. The employee will accomplish this with advanced written and verbal skills.
V) Travel
A) Adhere to MHMR Mileage and Travel reimbursement policy and any other aspect regarding travel.
B) This position requires occasional travel in personal vehicles to various program/provider sites.

A) Utilized as required for position.

A) Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
B) Defined Education: Computer science, Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
C) Preferences: Bachelor’s Degree
D) Substitutions: High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) years’ experience; Associate Degree and five (5) years’ experience
E) Years’ Experience: Three (3) years
F) Defined Experience: Human Resources or related field
G) License/Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License
H) Special Courses: None
I) Supervisory Experience: None
VIII) Agency Requirements
A) All staff are required to participate in agency Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Safety programs and may be assigned by their department as a key/essential staff level function during critical events or for the purpose of sustaining business continuity.
B) This position may require temporary or permanent re-assignment to any MHMR Tarrant facility as determined by program needs and/or the Division/Director.
C) Assigned work hours may change as the needs of the agency change.
D) The Functional Title of this position may change as the needs of the agency change.
E) All work will be completed within the scheduled work hours. All non-exempt (hourly) employees are expected to clock in and clock out for each work shift, no work should be done off the clock.
F) MHMR reserves the right to change, add to or eliminate positions as it deems appropriate.
G) Employment is at will, as well as agency needs may change.
H) Agency dress code is to be followed at all times.
I) Physical on-site presence, including regular attendance and punctuality, is an essential function of this position. Any changes or adjustments to your assigned work schedule or shift hours must be approved by your supervisor in advance.
