JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to maintain and repair vehicles. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. Automotive Technicians have a great deal of responsibility and work load to shoulder. You need to be able to work independently in order to perform the required tasks each day. Hourly Pay with Flag Time commissions. We pay Hourly plus Commission or Flag Time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical or electrical problems and complete necessary repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
- Check vehicles for mechanical stability during routine maintenance
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
- Keep logs of work and report on issues or shortages
- Deactivate tires or oil changes that have been scheduled
- Comply with all safety regulations (e.g. attendance) and keep the work area clean
- Provide clients with excellent customer service (in person and over the phone)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as Auto Mechanic is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance procedures; including engine, transmission, electrical & suspension systems is required.
- Ability to read & interpret technical documents and follow instructions
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
