Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various kitchen settings and possess strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used
- Monitor food levels and replenish items in a timely manner
- Adhere to food safety procedures and regulations
- Assist with food inventory and ordering as needed
- Oversee kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team management and supervisory experience preferred
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
