Security Guard is responsible for patrolling and monitoring the property, buildings, and access points, to maintain order and enforce regulations and for the safety and security of the community, residents, associates, and visitors; permitting entry, identifying irregularities, being aware of and taking action to remove trespassers, without interrupting the orderly flow of property operations. Respond to emergencies appropriately and with expediency, assist with emergencies, disturbances, and investigations, as required. Provide excellent customer service so as to protect the community and residents and facilitate the maintenance of a warm, secure and friendly environment.
Also, Security Guard- Customer Service Representative is responsible for greeting residents and visitors at the front desk and by phone. Must respond to emergencies and resident requests as well as help to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk. Must be approachable, compassionate, and have excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
Must have flexible schedule
Requirements:
- High school graduate preferred.
- One to three years of senior living, customer service, or related experience preferred.
- One to two years of experience as a Security Guard (preferably with seniors)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.
- Valid Florida Drivers’ license and proof of good driving record
- Valid “D” Security License preferred. We will pay for the D- license and train for the right candidate.
- Obtain BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED)
