Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communication with both patients and insurance companies
- Write financial plans based on doctors recommendations
- Responsible for doing insurance verifications
- Responsible for entering the patients pertinent data into the computer file for billing & accounting purposes
- Ensure that the practice is collecting all due from services performed from both the insurance companies and the patient
- Responsible to perform periodic audits to ensure the above
- Responsible to have full understanding of the patients Care plan and their financial plan so to be an advocate for them and to be a great resource if the patient has questions
- To be timely in writing financial care plans, quickly responding to changes in financial care
- Responsible to oversee all statistical data in regards to services, collections and insurance allowable changes
- Support the Front Desk when needed
- Coordinates and participates in Internal and External promotion
- Responsible to make sure the weekly deposits are made
- Works directly with the Front Desk Coordinator as needed to take care of customer questions and issues for resolution
- Is receptive to feedback, willing to learn and embraces continuous improvement
-Helpful, respectful, approachable and team oriented; building strong working relationships and maintaining a positive work environment
- Is cross trained and can help team perform other duties in observed needs or as assigned
Full Time- Salary/hourly wages negotiable depending upon experience and pace of learning all aspects of the position
