**Job Summary: **
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on the combined role of Administrator, Alternate Director of Nursing. This multifaceted position requires a dynamic leader capable of managing the overall operations of the agency, overseeing clinical staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing direct case management services to our patients. **Responsibilities: **
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Home Health Agency in compliance with state and federal regulations, including Medicare and AHCA requirements.
- Ensure the agency maintains JCAHO or similar accreditation standards.
- Develop, implement, and update agency policies and procedures to comply with state and federal guidelines.
- Manage the agency's budget, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle any complaints or issues that arise, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and best practices to keep the agency up to date.
- Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and efficient workflow.
- Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings, patient preferences, and physician recommendations.
- Coordinate and schedule home health services, including nursing, therapy, social work, and home health aide visits.
- Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with the care plan and within established timelines.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes.
- Coordinate and oversee staff training and professional development programs.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and standards of care.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement strategies for quality improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between the agency, patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
**Qualifications: **
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, active license in Florida.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in home health care, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or Administrator role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare, state, and federal regulations pertaining to home health care.
- Experience with JCAHO or similar accreditation processes and standards.
- Proven experience in case management and quality assurance within a home health care setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in healthcare software and technology.
**Preferred Qualifications: **
- Advanced degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Certification in home health care administration.
- Certification in case management (e.g., CCM, ACM).
