We are seeking a Service Adviser to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing team. The Jeep and Ram brands have seen tremendous growth over the last two years. Ideal candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers about necessary service for routine maintenance.
- Help identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer or doing a visual inspection or road test.
- Confer with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures and prepare work orders for needed repairs.
- Prepare repair orders with description and showing time, cost and labor estimates for service.
- Explain work performed and the repair order charges to customers.
- Handle customer complaints/inquiries and schedule service appointments.
- Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining vehicle according to manufacturers’ specifications.
- Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
- Establish “promised time” and schedule work with appropriate technician.
- Manage progress of repair and communicate with customers regarding any changes in estimate or promised time.
- Review repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work/authorization is noted. Close repair orders as appropriate.
- Implement and maintain quality control process to eliminate comebacks.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
- Handle high volume telephone inquiries.

- Must be able to read, write and speak English and read/interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

- Must be able to pass drug and background checks.
Education and/or Experience
· Proven mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of automotive repairs.
· Basic computer literacy.
