A thriving and busy medical practice in Shelby is looking for energetic and dedicated office assistants with medical office experience & mindset with excellent communication and customer service skills. The right person will have the opportunity to get into the medical field and the potential to grow into a leadership position. In this role, she/he will be a key member of our administrative team and balance multiple tasks. Key duties include checking patients in an out, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, handling medical records, filing, collecting co-pays/deductible/patient balances, and answering telephone, etc. Our ideal candidate will have to be willing and able to work at the Shelby office, as necessitated by the needs of the practice.
A high school diploma is required and this is a great opportunity to learn the medical field. The position has the potential to become a coordinator/managerial position.
