CareLink, the Area Agency on Aging for Central Arkansas, is a nonprofit agency providing resources for older people and their families. The role of program coordinator will support the work of CareLink’s providers under the OAA regulations. Being onsite at any of CareLink’s six providers to provide training and operational guidance can be expected. Applicants for this role should expect to use their problem-solving and strong decision-making skills to multitask as they work with staff and clients in varying service locations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Or three years of financial management experience
- Experience working in fast-paced, complex organizations
- Proven history of financial analytics
- Three years or more in a leadership role
- Proven record of implementing training programs
- Reliable transportation with a valid AR driver’s license and auto liability insurance with increased coverage limits

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with community stakeholders, AAA, State, Local, and other entities to maximize services to older people
- Ensure Senior Services are in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and licensure requirements pertaining to services provided; maintain electronic records to document the same
- Respond to providers and customer questions/complaints
- Establish record-keeping procedures
- Identify and recommend solutions to problems and establish or update procedures
- Respond to questions/complaints from clients, providers, and community partners.
- Lead training/retraining in specific job tasks
- Schedule workload and coordinate activities
- Ensure maximum services are provided with available resources
- Perform all tasks necessary to ensure processing of all documents related to recording and billing of services provided
- Complete billing and budget monitoring
- Prepare reports concerning activities of programs and areas of responsibility, including reports to management on goals, objectives, and progress, and maintain electronic records of the same
- Gather and process forms and enter data in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile data, funding, and other factors to maximize services and funding for programs to ensure appropriate billing, compliance, and financial or program evaluation
- Interact with various department personnel and external entities to assess whether data is correct and/or make corrections.
- Develop and generate management reports to summarize and quantify activities, services, and clients served.
- Perform all tasks with limited supervision
- Supervise staff as assigned
- Recommend process changes or improvement recommendations.
- Maintain strict confidentially regarding information that is part of job duties and responsibilities

- Manage activities across the senior services
- Interact with clients to gather data for compliance records
- Provide customer information and follow-up in a timely manner
- Provide information about aging services, public benefits, and other resources to client’s caregivers, other agencies, and the public

Salary Range: $ 43,888 - $ 47,399
