Automation Technician II
Shift: 1st and 3rd
1st Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
3rd Shift: Wednesday - Sunday, 5:00pm - 1:30am

Summary:
Be the go-to person for keeping our distribution center's automated mailing gear in top-notch shape and making sure everyone stays safe doing it!
What you'll do:
- Get the tools and equipment all set up for production, making sure safety is the top priority.
- Dive into fixing, maintaining, and patching up our automated mailing gadgets.
- Team up with vendors and our crew to tackle maintenance problems, boost equipment reliability, and cut down on downtime.
- Teach our operations crew how to use and give basic TLC to our awesome automation machines.
- Share detailed reports and chat it out at our weekly Tech calls.
- Give a helping hand and tips to Automation Tech I crew.
- Help out in creating and updating manuals and programs for our automated gear.
- Work side by side with our automation engineers on in-house projects.
- Be a solid support for Automation Helpdesk Level 1.
What you'll bring to the table:
- At least two years of rocking a similar role in manufacturing or automated distribution.
- Have a good grip on Mechanical (including Hydraulics and Pneumatics), Electrical, and Computer Skills.
- Understand the basics of how industrial machines do their thing.
- Know your way around CMMS.

- Be pretty handy with MS Office Word, Excel, and Skype.
- Talk and write with ease, whether you're chatting with operators, supervisors, or engineering.
- Pay attention to the little things and keep everything organized.
- Be cool with adjusting your schedule as business needs change.

Physical requirements:
- Move around, bend, push, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs (you might need some help if it's heavier).
- Be comfy sitting and standing for a while.
- Noise levels in the distribution center can get lively, but no ear protection needed.
- Temperature might swing from warm to cool, so dress accordingly.
