The Dental Treatment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of patient care, including scheduling appointments, processing insurance claims, and collecting payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures and insurance billing, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Liaison between the doctor and the patient
- Assists in the gathering information in the new patient experience
- Coordinate patient care and treatment plans with providers
- Review patient treatment options
- Present and educate patients about their treatment plans and address any questions they may have.
- Set up financial arrangements as needed
- Follow up with patients to ensure they are receiving dentals services they agreed to.
- Answer incoming calls and scheduling appointments
- Greeting patients and checking them in for appointments as needed
- Verifying insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed
Qualifications:
- 1-3 Experience working in a dental office setting
- Strong understanding of dental procedures and insurance billing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, One Drives and Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team\
- Knowledge of phone systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
