Job Description:
· Lead and monitor use and effectiveness of recruitment, interviewing, selection and Orientation
· Guide the HR team strategically to align the people department with business goals to achieve key metrics
· Provide coaching, training, counsel and direction to Operations Supervisors and Restaurant Management that support Kilroy Family Restaurants People policies, practices and tools
· Assist People Managers and Restaurant Managers in conducting staff and restaurant member on-boarding and orientation
· Partner with Operations Supervisors and restaurant management to deliver on all aspects of Staffing, Performance Management and Retention
· Serve as conduit for restaurant employees to communicate their ideas and concerns to management
· Ensure all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations
· Monitor and manage HR risks and implement policies to mitigate them
· Plans and practices that provide a fair, equitable and respectful work environment
· Investigations into potential violations of Kilroy Family Restaurants People polices and/or practices
· Partner with Culture Lead and People Lead to ensure employee engagement initiatives are effectively executed in the restaurants
· Partner with Operations Supervisors to implement and ensure proper execution of People policies and practices in the restaurants
· Support education/training/coaching to help People leaders be more effective
· Succession Planning – Coach and advise Operations Supervisors to ensure a robust talent pipeline to meet the needs of the restaurants
· Lead the development and execution of HR programs and initiatives across restaurants
· Workforce Planning – effectively anticipate restaurant management needs, help Operations Supervisors and General Managers develop and execute a plan
· Lead employee engagement and commitment programs
· Lead and manage HR projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery
· Oversee employee relations across restaurants, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and effectively
· Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve employee relations and promote a positive workplace culture
· Serve as point of escalation for complex employee relations issues
· Oversee the handling of legal issues related to employment, including investigations and liaising with legal counsel as necessary
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of HR projects
Qualifications:
Minimum
· 5+ years of experience as HR Generalist or other related HR role
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or business-related field
· Excellent leadership skills, written and oral communication skills, and planning and organization skills
· Demonstrated ability to protect highly confidential and sensitive information
· Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to flex as necessary
· Ability to establish relationships, build trust, manage conflict and influence others
· Self-motivated with strong initiative to achieve high standards and results
· Strong team player who can build teams and motivate others
· Strong knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
· Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Google Docs
· Possessing the ability to influence
· Experience in restaurant and/or hospitality experience in preferred
Desired
· 7+ years of experience in HR leadership role
· Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
