Title: IC&E Technician
Location: Orange Park, FL
Pay: $45/Hour – 10% Bonus – Relocation Assistance
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm

The Instrumentation, Controls, & Electrical Technician will be stationed on an energy production and distribution facility in Jacksonville calibrating valve positioners, analyzers, pressure, level, flow, and temperature sensors, with other unique instruments like gas chromatographs and ultrasonic flow meters. There will be some 480V electrical equipment to maintain including 3 phase power down to 24V DC circuits. Our client is actively trying to expand their operation and you would have the chance to work alongside 1 other Technician with a hands-on manager.
Job Description:
- Install, repair, and maintain instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment in the plant, including but not limited to switches, transmitters, analyzers, controllers, and motors.
- Work with additional
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, and modify pneumatic, electrical, and electronic control systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and distributed control systems (DCS) for the plant.
- Interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
- Take equipment readings, interpret abnormal readings and alarms, and take pre-designated corrective actions, including activation of emergency equipment and procedures.
- Work without supervision on maintaining proper plant operation, security, and emergency equipment and procedures, notify supervision of any abnormalities.
- Conduct regular equipment and systems tests and inspections to ensure reliability and availability.
- Perform work orders for inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and system modifications.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and report deficiencies for restock and reorder.
- Clean, paint, and perform other general maintenance tasks as required.
- Complete company-sponsored training as required.
- Participate in emergency response drills and exercises and respond to actual emergencies as needed.
