Chandler Hall, a non-profit, Quaker facility, provides high-quality care for older adults in Newtown, Bucks County, and offers a wide spectrum of services for individuals at all stages of the aging process including Community Living, Personal Care, Home Hospice, Independent Living, Respite Care, and Skilled Nursing Care.
We are currently seeking a full-time 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and full-time/part-time 3-11 pm Certified Medication Technician/Care Partner for our Personal Care residents.
Requirements:
- Current DHS Medication Administration certification required.
- Current Diabetes Education (preferred.)
- High school diploma or CNA certification or equivalent education required.
This position is responsible for administering prescribed medications timely and accurately and providing direct care as needed. Other responsibilities include taking vital signs, observing and reporting changes in resident health or medication reactions, accurate and timely documentation, and completion of incident reports. The candidate will be expected to work independently and as a team member while participating in ensuring the overall well-being and safety of the residents. Every other weekend required.
