Seeking a licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) to join a progressive Family Practice clinic in the Tempe area. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a medical provider and perform a range of radiological X-rays. This is a unique opportunity to work in a family practice clinic where you will build rapport with staff and patients.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews patient demographics and order prior to patient’s x-ray.
- Transports patients to and from the exam room and assists them into position using safe patient handling techniques.
- Performs radiology procedures and observes patient during procedure to ensure patient's safety and comfort.
- Obtains and evaluates images for technical quality.
- Utilizes the EMR, PACS, and other electronic portals for documentation, transmission of images, and report retrieval.
- Maintains equipment in efficient operating order.
- Performs and documents all required quality control testing.
- Contacts service for repair and maintenance as directed.
- Maintains an orderly, clean, and safe environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2 years of radiology experience required
Licensure:
- Must possess a current CRT license - mandatory
- ARRT certification – preferred
- BLS certification - preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
