The Creative Composites Group is seeking a new sales team member to increase our presence in the Marine Infrastructure market. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, growth-oriented group!
PRIMARY DUTIES: The primary responsibility of this position is to increase sales and promote the technical sales of the Creative Composites Group Marine Infrastructure Solutions and to advance the existing waterfront infrastructure products including SUPERLOC® sheet piles and accessories, SUPERPILE® pipe piles and accessories, in addition to custom-engineered composite solutions within the marine infrastructure industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Make sales calls on contractors, owner agencies, and purchasing agents both independently and in support of representative and distribution networks.
2. Cold Calling with decision-makers
3. Performing educational sessions with engineering firms, owners, and on occasion contractors on all waterfront product offerings
4. Focus on getting approval status/specified with DOTs, government entities, and port agencies both directly and through engineering firms.
5. Serve as the expert advisor to engineering firms, DOTs, and government entities assisting with design details centered around group products.
6. Provide in-the-field supervision and training.
7. Work to develop sales planning and forecasting budgets, follow up with assigned prospects, and document the sales pipeline through the CRM system.
8. Key Accountability: Territory Administration, document Call reports
9. Set up, assist, and manage representative and distributor networks.
10. Work to promote Waterfront products within an assigned territory to promote.
11. Work closely with marketing to plan and attend shows and other marketing-related functions.
12. Possess strong product and project coordination skills.
13. Establish a good rapport with customers.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with sales experience or equivalent combination of postsecondary education and experience. Excellent communication skills. Computer proficient with the Office Suite. Demonstrated success in a competitive environment, where you stay motivated by the responsibility and flexibility to impact the growth of our team each and every day.
