Queue Labor is currently hiring for Certified Flaggers.
Duties:
- Control the flow of traffic in work zones to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
- Use standard flagging signals and devices (such as stop/slow paddles, flags, and hand signals) to communicate with drivers and coordinate traffic movements. Follow established flagging procedures and protocols to maintain a smooth flow of traffic.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with construction crew members, supervisors, and drivers. Use radios, hand signals, and verbal instructions to relay important information and coordinate activities within the work zone.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, barricades, and flashing lights.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines related to traffic control and flagging operations.
- Keep accurate records of flagging activities, incidents, and any issues encountered during your shifts.
Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to flagging operations, traffic control, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and workplace safety.
Requirements:
- Pass urinalysis test & background check per company standards.
- Possess a valid certification as a flagger issued by an authorized training program or agency.
- Understand and apply standard flagging procedures, signaling techniques, and traffic control protocols.
- Demonstrate knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and work zone safety practices to ensure the safety of workers, motorists, and pedestrians.
- Possess strong verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with drivers, construction crew members, supervisors, and other stakeholders. Clear and concise communication is critical for coordinating traffic movements and addressing safety concerns.
- Pay close attention to detail and remain focused while performing flagging duties to prevent accidents, identify hazards, and maintain a safe work environment.
Hours of work:
6:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday OT may be offered
Work Conditions:
Outside in the Heat/Inclement Weather elements.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
