Revology Cars is hiring an experienced Upholstery Technician to build world-class premium quality interiors for its new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles.
PAY AND BENEFITS

An upholstery technician at Revology Cars will make between $54,080-$72,800 per year, depending on his or her skills and experience and willingness to work overtime.

This is not a flat rate job. The pay is stable, and you don't have to worry about not being assigned enough hours.

The work week is 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Optional Friday overtime work may be available.

80.0 hours paid time off (PTO) starts accruing immediately after hire, and new hires are eligible for holiday pay (72.0 hours per year) after only 90 days.

ABOUT THE JOB

Upholstery technicians at Revology Cars create world-class premium interiors for new 1960s Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles.
- The upholstery department cuts, sews, and fits leather seat upholstery, trims seats, and wraps interior trim panels in leather and vinyl. Some upholstery techs also install carpet, interior trim panels, and/or convertible tops.
- We use premium OEM materials, including Nappa leather from Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari, and Rolls-Royce, and 100% wool square weave carpet.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED.
-
Minimum of five (5) years of upholstery experience.
Capable of taking patterns and making templates from scratch.
Capable of using single and double needle machines.
Capable of inspecting hides and knowledge of common defects.
Capable of solving problems.
Experienced machine operator.

Ability and willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to perform manual labor, standing and walking much of the time, and with a certain amount of manual dexterity (the ability to pick up, handle, and manipulate tools, parts, and/or materials quickly and accurately).
- Ability to maneuver into, around, and about vehicles or components on an assembly line. Tasks may require a certain amount of reaching, twisting, and bending.

Ability to learn, remember, and maintain pace of steps involved in performing a job after instruction, training, and familiarization with the tasks.
- Ability and willingness to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written.

Ability to perceive differences in very specific details when inspecting parts or work performed, checking for defects or quality issues, or when distinguishing various parts/components by identification number or code.

Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, including helping co-workers, maintaining, and promoting a safe work environment, treating co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and accepting and following instructions and requests from leadership.

Preferred candidates will have experience installing and adjusting convertible tops.

Able to plan, organize, and manage work effectively.
- Ability and willingness to follow work instructions and do things the same way, to the same high standard of quality, every time.
- All positions require familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use, or willingness to learn how to use, an iPad.
