WorkSkill has been retained by our Award-Winning construction client in Downtown Orlando, Fl to conduct a search for the Nation's best Scenic Painters to assist them on a high-profile and exciting new project that is worthy of praise and attention! Our client is seeking to hire Auto Bodywork who have exemplified exceptional skills in body work repair.
Collaborate actively in our client's body work team, ensuring the delivery of top-tier products to our clientele. As a bodywork finisher, you will showcase your adeptness and vast experience in bodywork techniques.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plans the repair work that is necessary and prepares cost estimates for customers.
- Uses various tools such as cutting guns, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
- Hammer out dents, dimples, and other minor body damage if possible; mixes and applies filler resins to repair dents when other methods are not feasible.
- Realigns sheet metal and frames to repair damage.
- Prepares and repaints with specified paint or agreed-upon equivalent.
- Attempts to complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
- Ensures all work has been executed correctly by inspecting vehicles after repair.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
- Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair.
- Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Must be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
