What You’ll Do
Reporting directly to the CTO, our Field Service Engineer will play a critical role in delivering on our mission to create autonomous food and beverage micro factories. Are you a hands-on mechanical engineer with a desire to support cutting-edge technology in the mechatronics and robotics field? If you're ready to embark on a unique journey, we have a fantastic opportunity for you. We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to be a key player in our pioneering Jacksonville, FL operation.
Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical support for equipment and designs in Jacksonville, FL, and other locations.
- Get hands-on, on-site experience by traveling from Montreal to Toronto and Jacksonville to support customers.
- Assist in specific projects that involve mechatronics and robotics.
- Contribute to turning technical lessons learned from pilot projects into solutions for version 2.0.
- Collaborate with the team to design and build for the next generation of systems.
- Work closely with colleagues in Jacksonville to see our systems in operation and bring that knowledge back to Montreal.
- Be directly involved in executing the management's direction on system operation and development.
About You
- 1-2 years of experience, with a strong focus on mechatronics, robotics, and automation.
- The ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
- An initiative-driven mindset and the right attitude to be a self-starter.
- You have hands-on expertise designing and building automated systems.
- You illustrate excellent time management, strong attention to details, and are committed to meeting deadlines.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset, love working in teams in a fast-paced environment.
