Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, and the evening operations of our steakhouse, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory management, and financial performance
- Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff on proper service techniques
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to established standards
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Create and maintain a positive work environment for staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth
- Conduct interviews and hire qualified candidates for various positions within the restaurant
- Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and safety protocols
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service management or a similar role is required
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and specialty coffee drinks is highly preferred
- Proven track record of successful shift management in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Familiarity with kitchen management procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to interview, train, and develop staff members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
