POSITION SUMMARY
Performs clerical/scheduling/recruiting activities that facilitate agency operations. These activities include coordination of employees schedules with clients wants/needs, processing intake information, and responsibility for supervising and training of home care field staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate; advanced education desirable.
- Staffing/Scheduling experience, preferably staffing for a temporary Agency or in home health.
- Experience as a caregiver or Certified Nursing Aide.
- Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer literate or willing to be trained on a personal computer.
- Speaks, reads, writes, and comprehends English.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Ability to utilize effective problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates time management, organizational skills, and ability to function with minimal direction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains schedule for services requested and provided to agency clients.
- Provides direction to direct care employees and communicates with supervisors as needed
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Performs job in compliance with agency policies and procedures as well as community and professional standards.
- Ensures that adequate numbers of staff are available to meet current client needs as well as the anticipated flow of new referrals.
- Participates in the hiring process of direct care staff.
- Ensures new clients’ service needs are met within established timeframes.
- Maintains logs / records of recruitment activity and conversion rates.
- Communicates effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team through verbal reports, participation in staff meetings, and team conferences, as requested.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
Participate in “on call” duties nights and weekends, which includes answering calls, intakes of new clients, restaffing call offs or covering the shift if needed.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
- This is mainly an office position, but you will often be in the field working/supervising clients and staff.
- You may be sitting for long periods of time at a computer, driving to see clients, and showing staff how to perform a task or assisting the client. (Assist with transfers, cleaning, cooking, and personal cares).
- Each office is independently owned and operated.
- This is NOT a remote position.
