Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and children. You will play a crucial role in helping clients overcome mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' specific goals and needs
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in mental health treatment
- Provide counseling and support to individuals with chronic pain or other physical health conditions
- Offer guidance and resources for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field
- Valid license or certification as a Mental Health Therapist
- Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy
- Familiarity with special education services for children with mental health needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently
