Front Desk Greeter
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing greeting support within the Bucks IU Samuel Everitt School. The Greeter duties and responsibilities in this center-based school program include the first contact person for the communication of all parents, school district personnel, staff, and supervisors.
Essential Functions:

Greets building visitors, announces visitors to building staff, directs individuals to appropriate meeting rooms

Communicates necessary information concerning Bucks IU programs, services, and staff to the public

Ensures site visitor log-in processes are followed by visitors to the building

Assists with mail and delivers to school building

Completes forms and reports for staff use

Files papers for inventory

Supports the implementation of school-wide events

Assists with school operations and safety by monitoring building entrances/exits

Supports staff in monthly safety drills

Monitors and accounts for staff and students within building

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time, 260-day calendar position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Students will be assigned to work a flexible schedule during the hours of9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
