Senior Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
- Serve as a mentor and supervisor by providing clinical coaching to Occupational Therapists including support of client sessions and regular touch point meetings.
- Train and support Occupational Therapists in conducting evaluations, identifying, and developing client acquisition goals, daily treatment notes, daily data input analysis and other documentation needed
- Ensure OTs establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed
- Provide coverage therapy sessions and carry a small caseload to maintain best practice standards
- Collaborate with scheduling team to manage caseload requirements
Senior Occupational Therapist Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree of Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of occupational therapy
- Active state licensure in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or related disorders.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Advance knowledge and experience with Sensory Processing Disorders.
