This is a fulltime ophthalmic technician position in a busy ophthalmology office. Please send cover letter and resume.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ophthalmic/Optometric technician experience helpful
Skills and Abilities:
- History taking, visual acuity testing; manifest refraction, contact lens fittings, visual field testing, tonometry, fundus photography, as well as other ophthalmic testing
- Scribing on EMR
- Ability to analyze situations and think on your feet
- Patient appointment and surgery center scheduling
- Knowledge of laser procedures
- Assist physician with minor surgery
- Answer phones and assist front office
- Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends
