Dermatology Group of the Carolinas is a privately-owned dermatology practice with offices in Concord, Salisbury & Huntersville. We are currently looking to expand our staff with a Patient Services Representative, Front Office in our Concord location. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical office scheduling, as well as EMR & health insurance verification. This candidate will enjoy working with the public as well as with a team.

Job Summary:
The primary role of a Patient Services Representative, Front Office is to provide superb customer service while checking patients in and out. Patient Services Representative Team members should be able to multi-task with proficient concentration and heightened energy levels.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Input patient information into the electronic patient chart
- Verify insurance benefits/eligibility prior to each patient appointment and notify patients of coverage gaps
- Receive, enter, and schedule appointments from referring practices/doctors, maintaining proper appointment confirmation documentation in patient chart
- Input Electronic Billing and collect according to insurance benefits at time of service
- Perform Daily Financial Close and balance cash drawer at the end of each day
Education/Experience:
- 1-2 years Healthcare experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Advanced certificate or college degree, preferred but not required
