We are seeking a skilled Transport Manager to oversee and manage our special needs transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing transportation activities. Duties:
- Develop and implement transportation strategies to meet company objectives
- Manage and coordinate transportation operations, including routing, scheduling, and dispatching
Supervise day-to-day operations and our dedicated drivers.
Recruit and onboard new drivers, ensuring they meet our high standards.
Ensure punctuality of student pick-ups and drop-offs.
Manage app usage, ensuring drivers utilize it correctly for seamless operations.
Coordinate rescues, finding temporary replacements when drivers are unavailable.
Maintain constant communication with dispatch for smooth route management and handling exceptions.
Foster professional relationships with school districts and communities we serve.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transport management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Spanish and english are both required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $500.00 - $1,060.00 per week
