Position Summary: As a Pharmaceutical Warehouse Associate at National Drug Source, your role is crucial in handling, storing, and distributing pharmaceutical products efficiently and safely. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong commitment to compliance and safety standards, and a high level of integrity due to the sensitive nature of the products involved.
Performance Objectives:
Receiving and Inspection: Unload and inspect pharmaceutical shipments for integrity and compliance; ensure that all received goods are accurately documented and stored and follow the company’s established procedures.
Storage Management: Store pharmaceuticals according to specific handling requirements, including temperature and humidity controls, to maintain product integrity.
Order Fulfillment and Shipping: Pick, prepare, package, and label pharmaceutical products for shipment according to regulatory standards and company policies. Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as forklifts, warehouse tools and warehouse machines that support daily responsibilities.
Track shipments: Utilize common shipping carrier’s websites to track inbound and outbound shipments as necessary to ensure operational metrics are met. Report shipment exceptions or delays to the warehouse manager in accordance with established guidelines.
Inventory Control: Perform precise inventory counts, under the guidance of the warehouse manager, and maintain detailed records to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products are fit for distribution and products are not expired or damaged items are stored or shipped.
Compliance Adherence: Strictly adhere to FDA regulations, company standard operating procedures, and other relevant legal requirements.
Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work environment; follow all safety protocols related to handling pharmaceuticals, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including logs, reports, and inventory records in accordance with the Company’s operating procedures.
Organization: Follow and implement lean 5S methodologies to all work areas.
Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other staff members to accomplish the company’s daily deliverables. Strong organization and relationship management skills are imperative.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in a process to continually improve organizational effectiveness including but not limited to required training and targeted programs.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in supply chain or pharmaceuticals preferred.
Experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare warehouse setting is highly desirable.
Understanding of GMP or GDP (Good Manufacturing or Good Distribution Practices) and FDA regulatory requirements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Physical ability to handle repetitive lifting and standing for prolonged periods.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and data entry.
SAP Business One experience strongly desired and is a plus.
Certification in handling and storage of pharmaceuticals is a plus.
