Responsibilities:
As a Clinic Practice Manager at Riverhills Neuroscience, you will play a crucial role in clinical operations of a multispecialty office. This position is responsible for overseeing an office that provides patient care in the following specialties: Neurology, Rheumatology, and Behavior Medicine. Your responsibilities include:

Establishes a plan for daily operations that is aligned with goals and needs of the organization that meets the needs of the patients and physicians considering efficient workflow, patient flow and patient/staff safety.

Manages the daily flow process including emergencies.

Oversees and promotes patient education and available related tools and materials.

Promotes and monitors appropriate triage of telephone and computer patient messages, prescription and refill management, and internal policy and control of office pharmaceuticals.

Reviews and monitors effectiveness of daily operations revising as needed.

Monitors and implements revisions of procedures for inventory control, ordering, use, monitoring and replacement of supplies and equipment.

Implements and fosters an atmosphere of patient satisfaction and positive customer service.

Maintains and applies current knowledge applicable to service area, creating and updating policies and procedures accordingly.

Develop and monitor effective staffing plans, which consider retention and replacement needs.

Manage non-clinical and clinical staff performance, behavior, and goals utilizing coaching, guidance and performance review criteria, including Policies and Procedures.

Ensure that policies and procedures are followed in regard to information management and HIPAA and other applicable law.

Background and Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree is preferred.

At least five years of healthcare experience with at least 3 years of progressive management and clinical experience.

Must have experience working in a physician office setting.

Experience as a MA, LPN, or RN preferred.

Strong analytic skills, problem solving and critical thinking.

Outstanding written, verbal communication and computer skills
-
General computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.

Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and practice management system is required.
