Job Overview
Assist accounting department in various administrative and bookkeeping duties.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitoring daily communications and answering any inquiries.
- Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Working with spreadsheets
- Filing payment transactions
- Receiving and recording vouchers, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Provide clerical support to the accounting department.
- Maintain Vendor Files(W-9)
- Liaising with third party providers, and suppliers when issues arise.
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
- The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the above.
Qualifications
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks.
- Analytical thinker and problem solver.
- High level of accuracy
- Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information
- Administrative skills
- Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
- Ability to multi-task and handle high volume.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
