Salary: $63,000 - $76,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 1-2 days remote per week

Focus: The Dispatcher is responsible for the timely and efficient dispatch of shipments to common carriers. This role involves monitoring transportation activities, addressing any issues or delays, while maintaining excellent communication to our partner carriers and internal stakeholders. The dispatcher will ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations, contributing to the overall success to our transportation department.
Dispatcher Essential Job Functions:
- Daily load dispatching for assigned region to common carriers
- Leverage telemetry technology to manage and schedule deliveries
- Generate non-conformance notification if load is late, not delivered or rejected
- Contribute to Carrier Score Card reporting
- Partner with Marketing, Customer Service, and Planning to prioritize/fulfill orders during unplanned events
- Utilize load tracking software to monitor shipment progress, identify potential delays, and implement proactive solutions to ensure on-time deliveries
- Maintain Just In Time (JIT) service environment/high touch business
- Assist in ensuring carrier compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience; customer service and/or logistics setting preferred; planning, scheduling or dispatch experience preferred
- Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills; team player with customer focused mentality
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Work); SAP preferred
- Must be able to work a rotating on call weekend coverage schedule and rotating overnight weekday coverage schedule
- Position may involve flex hours between 6am to 3pm and 10am to 7pm; flexibility with scheduling required
- Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
