Job Description: Multi-Unit General Manager
A premier hospitality venue in New York, NY, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Multi-Unit General Manager to lead our team and oversee multiple operations within one location.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage several outlets, including a bakery, full-service restaurant, cocktail bar, residential café/in-room dining, and co-working space.
- Lead and mentor a team of over 90 employees.
- Develop and implement sales and profit strategies aligned with budget goals.
- Ensure the venue's profitability by increasing sales and managing costs effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive financial reporting on a daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet business needs while controlling labor costs.
- Oversee all cash management activities and enforce loss prevention standards.
- Review and correct daily time records, addressing any discrepancies.
- Oversee weekly payroll processing and provide final approval.
- Manage ordering, general ledger (GL) management, and inventory for specific supplies.
- Assist in setting menu prices and planning menus.
- Open or close the venue, completing necessary checklists.
- Manage hourly employees' daily responsibilities and provide clear communication.
- Plan and execute staff schedules and manage all POS functions.
- Organize and communicate promotions and changes effectively.
- Conduct health and safety inspections multiple times daily to ensure compliance and address issues immediately.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices and resolve potential hazards.
- Educate team members about products and ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Approve maintenance and repair requests.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate hourly staff.
- Serve as a role model for exceptional service and continuously improve service standards.
- Monitor, coach, and motivate the management team and hourly staff to meet service expectations.
- Resolve team member or customer conflicts professionally.
- Post open positions and conduct interviews.
- Identify and address staffing, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training needs.
- Facilitate ongoing training and development of staff.
- Foster a positive work environment where team members' input is valued.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
Essential Functions:

- Communicate effectively and clearly with all team members.
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Stand, walk, and bend continuously for extended periods.

- Maintain general knowledge of the location, transportation, management team, and company standards.
- Use traditional software programs such as Gmail, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and other necessary systems.
- Access and input information accurately using moderately complex computer systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Food and Beverage Director or Multi-Unit GM in NYC restaurants.
- Genuine interest and passion for seasonally-driven menus with high service standards.
- Energetic and positive attitude with strong leadership and inspirational skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to support the kitchen team.
- Must have NYC food handlers certificate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
