Reporting directly to the Manager, Finance-Clinical, Academic & Research, the Sr. Analyst Finance, Clinical, Academic, & Research will support the Manager by being responsible for compiling, drawing insights from, and making recommendations for improvements based on the analysis related to the financial statements, product and service line reports, and business units. The Senior will collaborate with VPs, Deputy Directors, etc. to share results and provide recommendations. The Senior is also an expert on the use of dashboards, benchmarks and other analytic reporting tools to evaluate the performance of clinical operations, research and education. Provide support to the Manager, Director and AVP of Finance in their roles as business consultants. Maintain statistical data along with other data necessary for fair market value (FMV) analysis reports which support the business and physicians arrangements within the various entities across the BHSF organization. In addition, the Senior Analyst must lead a team of Analysts in Clinical Research, Clinical Services (including Population Health) and Education (including GME). The centers of excellence services generate over $4.7 billion in charges annually and are expected to continue to grow. Estimated salary range for this position is $62974.07 - $81866.29 / year depending on experience.
Degrees: Bachelors Additional Qualifications: Bachelor‘s degree in Accounting, Finance or Healthcare Administration or related business discipline. Certified Public Accountant or Masters Degree preferred. Minimum five (5) years of relevant accounting and or financial analysis experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication/presentation skills required, along with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications. Possess extensive knowledge of financial and general accounting principles. Experience with management information systems (data query/data management tools) is preferred. The Senior will be looked up as a subject matter expert in at least one supported area: Clinical Research, Clinical Services (including Population Health) and Education (including GME). The Senior must be proficient in all other areas the group supports. The Sr. Analyst is an expert on the use of dashboards, benchmarks and other analytic reporting tools to evaluate the performance of clinical operations, research and education. Analysis is to be interpreted and maintained on financial issues related to the entity as a whole and/or individual departments, product and service lines, physician integration, business development strategies, short and long-term financial planning and the annual operating budget.
